Tourism & Nature

Nature and tourism sector unites two extremely important areas in the Barents region. The representatives, both personnel and students, from the higher educational institutes in the Barents region work together by holding meetings, gathering a mutual database, networking, planning mutual studies and initiating common cooperation projects. Student and teacher exchange is also important and already active. Sustainability and multiple use of forests are emphasized in the different projects of this sector.
